WATER-CITY | Second Course
Exchange
13-18 March 2014, Eastern Region University Centre (CURE), University of the Republic (UdelaR)
PURPOSE
Water management is a determinant of quality of life in our cities. Taking into consideration the complete urban hydrologic cycle and its relationship with the city is an important step to developing sustainable cities.
Understanding the interaction occurring in these complex systems and the design of comprehensive methodologies to address the different issues require more interaction between disciplines and methodologies. “Training” in this interaction is not part of the process of preparing specialists in the different fields.
