II Regional Symposium on Climate Change and Decision Making

The meeting, organized by the Regional Center for Climate Change and Decision Making, took place on August 19 and 20, 2015 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
More than 140 experts in climate change and decision making from the public and private sector, academic community, civil society, journalists and media representatives attended.
Key panels and discussion tables on climate change and decision-making were scheduled in three working sessions: Session 1 on “Links Between Science and Climate Change Policy,” Session 2 “Decision-Making Related to Climate Change”, and Session 3 “Institutional Strategies to Integrate Climate Change into Public Policy.”.
The event consisted of discussions between the academic community, governments, civil society, and the private sector. It turned out to be an opportunity for considering and analyzing ways to strengthen relationships and collaborative networks dealing with climate change
